$100m investment in aircraft manufacturing plant at Warnervale
• A $100-million aircraft manufacturing facility will be built at Warnervale.
• Mike Baird announced the facility, to be built at Central Coast Airport, previously called Warnervale Airport, would create a new aerospace industry and sub-industries in Australia.
Australia China Theme Park's latest development application under consideration
• The first stage of the proposed these park development is expected to be fully operational and constructed by 2017.
• It is anticipated that the operation of the facility will employ over 150 full time equivalent staff.
Warnervale will get a multi-million dollar kick start from Central Coast Council
• Council to pump $5m into business and education precinct to invigorate commerce and academia.
• The four main areas proposed for the site include a university with integrated accommodation for 1500 students; a sports and recreational precinct with sports fields and a pool/gym complex; a central core including a smart hub with the library, administration functions and a hotel for short-term accommodation; and a business park to integrate academia, research and commerce.
Warnervale Town Centre - Vow to get project up
• Mr Reynolds has vowed the project would start within his term of office which ends in September 2017.
• Last month, Woolworths and Urban Growth NSW said they hoped to start work soon.
